I live and work between Norway and Estonia. Born in Siberia with Asian roots, I feel a deep cultural connection to Eastern traditions, which often surfaces in my work through motifs, decorative ornaments and subtle references to shamanic and nomadic symbols. I studied art and design in Saint Petersburg and Oslo, which gave me a solid artistic and professional foundation: in Saint Petersburg I attended institutions focused on printing, arts and crafts, and drawing, and in Oslo I trained at a higher creative school specializing in graphic design.
I work in mixed media—mostly acrylics and watercolor pencils—building transparent layers. My style blends elements of surrealism and chinoiserie: line, texture and color form a delicate visual dialogue. My pieces reflect the influence of Asian material culture—ornaments, textiles and jewelry motifs—as well as themes tied to shamanic rituals, music and oral traditions. I continue to develop my technique and artistic thinking at Svetlana Rumak’s art school, where graphic precision meets tactility and intuitive expression. I actively experiment with formats and techniques to refine my visual language and have participated in juried exhibitions locally and internationally (Istanbul Art Contact, Bodrum Turkey, Norway Akershus, Art Nordica).
